Client Testimonial
“Working with Mike has been life changing for us. We’ve transformed our traditional practice into something we feel is special and has set up the future of our family business long into the future. With Mike’s leadership experience in the military, the fact he owns practices himself and has exited successfully in past, we can’t be happier with the service.”

Client Challenge
AJ and Riz were keen to work cohesively with their experienced support team during the renovation of their existing three chair practice in Kings Lynn. Expanding it to four chairs and purchasing a sister site on the other side of the town.
Practice Potential
The practice had always been a traditional general dental practice. With Riz a qualified specialist and AJ’s business acumen the plan was to turn it into a centre of specialist excellence. Good parking on site and easy access roads, in an area short of dentists with lots of patients.
The Journey
Decreasing AJ’s clinical time so he could focus on the business was the first step. The business needed a rebrand and rename which was carried out using Hesketh Healthcare contacts. Understanding the business numbers was the next step, so we installed a system of measuring numbers we use in our own practices. Renovating the practice quarter by quarter was a challenge but organised well by the practice manager. Hesketh Healthcare advised on the negotiation process for the second site.
The Outcome
200%
Doubled profit
Doubling turnover, and more importantly doubling profit whilst decreasing clinical time.

What The Future Looks Like For SilverOak
With a second site launching in early 2024 and a continued expansion of the first site, supported by the study clubs recently introduced, SilverOak have no trouble recruiting high calibre clinicians in an area of the UK where clinicians are rare. The team approach to dentistry is the current project with a digital led journey.
